When was romo drafted

You read that right. One of the greatest tight ends ever is on the shortlist of undrafted NFL players who had stellar careers. Why was Gates undrafted? Because he played basketball in college at Kent State.

Despite a disappointing rookie season in terms of wins and losses, Gates went from the bench to become a starter by the end of the season. Just proof that the evaluation for draft prospects can be a flawed process.
