Who owns gulfstream rv

They left us hanging!!! I'm so gross out.. I checked all windows and revealed them and still can't find the leak I even checked the roof.. In addition to the technical specs listed with the ad, allow me to go over the finer points of enjoying this rig.

No slides? That's right, it is one of the few diesel pushers without slides. We looked for two years to find one! In our experience we found the rig to be roomy enough without them " wide body. If you stop for lunch, rest area, or to do something while driving restroom, prepare lunch, work at dinette with We Boost it is roomy all of the time. No threading the needle to squeeze down the crowded passageway. Secondly, no worries about dust, rain, infiltration, wind whistle or seal replacement.

Not to mention the added weight and costs to maintain. We've witnessed countless people with the slide not going out or worse yet, not going in as they were ready to leave, surprise! Yes, it is a diesel engine and Allison transmission. According to Prosourcediesel. This is a well maintain vehicle. Diesel engines are designed for high mileage use. Travel into Mexico? This 5. Something we really love about the rear engine is the absence of noise and heat in the cab while driving!

The air ride suspension feels like a tour bus. This 31' motorhome fits into most campsites. With it's short wheelbase and overall length we've fit into most National Parks and Forest Service campsites without issue. We go where most of the "big rigs" can't. It also has a transfer water pump so you can fill containers and easily transfer into the water tank! The awnings have made a huge difference when sunny or rainy.

Miles per gallon? We drive slower by choice, at mph not towing we can get 12 mpg, towing 9. We and our guests really enjoy the bright and bold colors while enjoying the indoors.

We've had countless compliments on the clean exterior paint scheme as well. As you can see from the repairs and upgrades, this isn't a project motorhome, it is ready for travel now. We are looking for the right new owner to enjoy "Solmate" as much as we have. Thanks for checking out this atypical travel vehicle. Happy Trails. Whenever we stop, there are always admiring comments about the retro look and teal cream colors. It was easy to tow both on the highways and in the mountains with our 6 cylinder SUV with a weight distribution hitch.

Thank you I live in Dallas Tx. I could fly into you close est Airport. Then you would have to pick me up. I could go on but it just makes me angry. I feel ive been robbed with such poor quality!

This was supposed to be a fun purchase nothing but a nightmare!! Replaced thermostat and battery and added a second battery. Toilet leaks, one overhead light has never worked, inside trim is falling off the wardrobe and the vent is falling out of the ceiling in the bathroom. New thermostat changed the setting from cool 78 degrees to furnace 88 degrees. First time we thought we may have accidentally touched the thermostat, second time no one was in the RV.

Now the slide is stuck. Had to end our road trip halfway through. It is a perfect size and style for the two of plus dogs. It is literally falling apart and we have only had it 5 months. The craftsmanship is horrible! We had to Reinforce the table seating, we average around in weight and all the supports popped within 3 days. Next the kitchen sinks drained into the drawers and we had to fix the plumbing. Overall sloppy craftsmanship. Things like crooked light switches , clasps for the cabinets needing adjusting, chalk not completed around the tub ,just lots of little things!

Signed an Unhappy Camper Dot. And the floor plan gives it a much larger feel than a cramped rig. Once the slides are opened up this is like a small apartment, from the large pass through basement to the solid cabinets to having a washer and dryer built right into it.

Another thing to love is TWO gray tanks, one for the bath and one for the galley, so you can dry camp much longer. Add to this the 70 gallon fresh water tank and boon docking is much more comfortable than in most rigs.

This also has a generator room up front, fully armored for safety and silence. We use it for storage instead, but you do you.

Because of this 5th wheel I really consider Gulf Stream to be a fantastic brand. Everything about this thing is quality and doesn't feel like an RV, it feels like your second home. When it comes to how Gulfstream Coach motorhomes are made, they utilize three different construction processes when manufacturing different models. The conventional construction method is very similar to the construction methods used in building a house, but it differs significantly.

The process combines and uses wood studs, aluminum siding, and fiberglass insulation. These materials are also built into the Uni-Body technologically advanced design that uses weight-saving materials in its construction.

All these elements in the convention construction method allow the company to produce lightweight and durable RVs. Below you will see a few of the models that Gulfstream Coach makes with the laminated construction method:. In the manufacturing process, each layer of the walling is vacuum bonded into lightweight, rigid laminated paneling that the company then uses for ceilings, floors, and walls.

In the Cradle of Strength construction, the company implements an additional 16 structural enhancements to provide a more stable and stronger manufactured product. Moreover, most of the motorhomes offered by Gulfstream are made with the Azdel woven synthetic layer. With Gulfstream Coach being a leading RV manufacturer in the motorhome industry for many years, they have a few RV models that are very popular amongst campers and full-time RV living enthusiasts.

The largest version of the BT Cruiser offers consumers a sporty RV with many excellent features and amenities. Additionally, the RV features a range of exemplary kitchen features and appliances and comfortable furnishings in the living areas. The class C Conquest is a popular RV model amongst families because of its luxury feel wrapped in an affordable price tag. This large RV offers many family-friendly features and comes with a large kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms.

Gulfstream Coach offers an award-winning Gold Edition travel trailer that is incredibly popular for its innovative design and premium features. The SBW has countless amazing features, such as an outside shower, BTU airconditioner, modern residential appliances, and Wi-Fi ready capabilities. We will look at a few notable recalls and assess when they happened and why the models were recalled:.

Certain models in these Class C motorhomes were recalled due to incorrect radio wiring in the dash unit. The fault causes the DVD machine to switch on while the car is in motion, which could cause an accident should the driver become distracted.

A few models in this Class C category were recalled due to incorrect certification labeling concerning the gross axle weight ratings.

The incorrect labeling causes the vehicles to fail compliance requirements set out in 49 CFR part certification. These models are currently being recalled due to a fault found with the axle to make contact with the black water tank.

Should this happen, the tank could become punctured and, the contents spilled on the road, which could cause an accident. Gulf Stream continues to be attentive to its customers to make its products better and more sustainable.

Most of their product innovations have stood out in the industry. Their construction techniques are tailored to the way the RV will be used by the customers. Some units incorporate lightweight materials to allow the RV to be towed by a small car and for better fuel consumption. Other models are built for year-round comfort, regardless of the climate. Member since , all Gulf Stream products meet or exceed the standards of the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.

Problem: On certain classic caravans, the bottom of the refrigerator compartment may not be properly sealed. As a result, unburnt carbon monoxide or propane gas could build up inside the trailer. Safety Risks: A build-up of propane gas inside the trailer could create a risk of explosion or fire. In addition, a build-up of carbon monoxide could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. Solution: Gulf Stream to notify owners by mail and ask them to take their trailer to a dealership to have the bottom of the refrigerator compartment inspected and sealed.

Problem: On certain 19RD Super-Lite classic trailers, there may not be enough clearance between the top of the axle and the underside of the grey waste water tank. As a result, the axle could come into contact with the tank when the trailer is loaded and the tank is full. This could damage the tank and cause grey waste water to leak. Safety risks: A leak from the wastewater tank could create a road hazard and increase the risk of an accident. Solution: Gulf Stream Coach should notify owners by mail and ask them to take their trailer to a dealership to replace the axle in order to increase space.

Gulf Stream Coach recommends travelling with empty holding tanks until repairs to be made as part of this recall are made. Problem: On certain classic caravans, the inner hub bearings of the axles may not be sufficiently greased. This could cause the bearings to overheat and fail, which could cause a wheel to jam or come off. It could cause a loss of control and an accident. In addition, a loose wheel could strike a vehicle, stationary object, or person nearby, injuring someone or damaging property.
